Hershey Park is open for business.
"I like all the roller coasters, I absolutely love Fahrenheit," said Chelsey Garman, Sunbury.
Excitement for the 102nd season is picking up steam for a big year, despite economic worries.
"We are cautiously optimistic that we're going to have a nice season, a good season, one of the reasons for that is we are a drive destination for about 60 million people," said Kathy Burrows, public relations manager.
Brian and Tina Hultslander are season ticket holders who drive all the way from Funkstown, Maryland.
"Well, for one thing it's nice, was a 95 mile drive but still it takes less than two hours and we enjoy all the rides," said Brian.
"The economy hasn't affected us too much, we take a picnic lunch with us a lot of times and we have a small car that we drive," said Tina.
Park officials are offering family stimulus packages.
"Allow a variety of discounts for everyone, from a one day guest to Hershey Park to someone who wants to come up and stay overnight in our resorts," said Burrows.
The biggest discounts come early in the season which will hopefully attract visitors on the fence.
"The discounts are deeper the earlier you travel. May discounts are better than June, June is better than July, July better than August," said Burrows.
