Meleanie Hain, of Lebanon, who gained national attention last year after bringing her loaded gun to her daughter's soccer game, was found shot and killed inside her house Wednesday night, the result of a possible murder-suicide, police say.

Meleanie, 31, and her husband Scott Hain, 33, were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.

Police responded to a double shooting, around 5:30, at their home on the 300 block of South Second Avenue. Police do not believe anyone else is involved in the shooting.

A neighbor tells FOX43 she saw the couple's oldest son running up the street saying, "daddy shot mommy."

"That was upsetting. That must be horrible to see something like that. I can't imagine," says neighbor Aileen Fortna.

Other residents are shocked about the crime in the normally peaceful neighborhood.

"It's a really nice neighborhood. It's quiet. Everyone gets along really well. You see a lot of people walking their kids, walking their dogs. Nothing like this happens ever in this neighborhood," says neighbor John Gable.

Autopsies have been scheduled. Police have not released who shot whom.

Hain gained attention when she lost her gun permit in November of 2008. The Lebanon County Sheriff revoked her permit, after people complained she was carrying her pistol to her 5 year old daughter's soccer games. A judge granted her permit back, and she sued the County Sheriff's office for $1 million to cover legal expenses.
