Dauphin County Dirt Bike and Truck Accident Kills a Woman
Police charge a dirt bike driver for insufficient lighting in connection with a crash that claims the life of an Elizabethville woman.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday when 23-year-old Jeremy Curtis, of Gratz, drove his dirt bike west on South Street in Gratz. The truck driven by 23-year-old Isaiah Daniels Jr., of Gratz, drove behind the bike and could not see it because it had no lights, police say. The truck struck the dirt bike's rear tire, causing 18-year-old Shana Schell to be thrown. The coroner pronounced her dead at the scene.
