$3,000 Worth of Copper Wire Stolen in Lancaster County
WEST HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, LANCASTER COUNTY - Thieves steal more than $3,000 in copper wire stored a PPL sub-station, along the 100 block of Stonehouse Lane in West Hempfield Township, sometime between Wednesday evening and this morning.

Police got the report around 6:40 a.m. The loss includes about 850 to 950 feet of copper wire.

Police found two locations where the bandits cut though a wire fence.
