HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN COUNTY -
Pennsylvania state troopers want to make sure children are safely secured in their car seats. All this week, troopers around the region will be conducting free safety checks on car seats. It's part of the national "Child Passenger Safety Week" that goes on through Friday.
If you want to get your child's car seat checked out, stop by one of the following locations sometime this week.
Wal-Mart in Elizabethville - checks 9/16-9/18 Summit Health Center in Chambersburg - checks 9/16 and 9/17 Pennsylvania State Barracks in Newport - checks 9/15 and 9/16 Pennsylvania State Barracks in York - checks 9/18
