Neighbors say David Ebling took care of the yard work at his mother's Monroe Valley Drive home in Lebanon County, but they say the 45 year old was no ideal son. He's now charged with killing his mother.

"I'm not surprised, no. It was a money problem. It was always money, because he was involved in drugs," one neighbor who wished to not be identified said.

A neighbor found Jeanette Ebling in her bathroom Friday June 12, still sitting in her wheel chair with a cord around her neck. They say David Ebling was in the home for days while his mother was dead.

"Who else would have done it." neighbor Kelly Howard said. He was in the home with his mother when they found her."

Police arrested David Ebling earlier in the week on a probation violation. He was arraigned Friday on homicide and abuse of a corpse charges, Neighbors saw police again at the home Friday collecting more evidence.

"When we came back home there are like 6 or 7 detective cars and they were going through the house. They brought out her motorized wheel chair. I don't know if they brought that out for evidence," a neighbor said.

While David Ebling was being arraigned on charges he killed his mother, she was being mourned. Her funeral was the same day.
