Bomb Threat at Octorara High School
A bomb threat was reported at Octorara High School this morning at 9:45AM. Students have been dismissed early today.

Quoted from the Octorara School District website, "Wednesday, November 11, 2009. This message is to inform you that at approximately 9:45 a.m. there was a bomb threat reported at the high school. All buildings are currently on lock down and high school and middle school students have been evacuated to the elementary buildings while state police assess the situation. We will notify you via phone system as the situation develops. At this time you can be most helpful by not coming on campus. UPDATE! All high school and middle school students will be dismissing at 12:15 pm today. All elementary students will be dismissing at 1:15 pm today. There is no PM Kindergarten today.

YMCA after school program students will be transported to the Cochranville YMCA and parents will be contacted regarding pick-up.
