The Good family from Elm, Lancaster County, came to the event to give 13-year-old Seth another experience to remember.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation was already able to grant a wish for Seth, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor two years ago.

"They were able to give back some of what Seth had lost during the whole treatment," Seth's father, Todd Good, said. "He had something to look forward to."

Seth got his wish at an automobile race track.

"My wish was to ride in a NASCAR really fast, and we did it," Seth said. "It was really fun."

Seth is excited to go on another ride, even though it's a slower one.

This time, instead of a race car, he's inside the cab of a truck, one of more than 400 at Sunday's event.

"I think it's neat how all these truck drivers are coming out and giving up their time to sponsor Make-A-Wish," Seth's mother, Marie Good, said.

The convoy is known for its record-breaking size.

It has been featured in the Guinness Book of World Records.

"We're going to generate some very serious money so we can grant the wishes of children," Dennis Heron said.

Heron is President and CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Philadelphia and the Susquehanna Valley.

He said the convoy could raise about $300,000, enough to grant about 300 wishes to children with life-threatening conditions.

All the money is raised by truckers, families, and volunteers, Heron said.

"People come here because they know that Make-A-Wish grants the wish of a child who's simply been denied the opportunity to be a kid," Heron said.

Everybody in the Good family seemed to be feeling like a kid Sunday.

"I want to say thank you for all they've done for me," Seth said.
