LANCASTER COUNTY -—
Police in Lancaster County are investigating burglaries over the past several days. Businesses, churches, and homes have all been hit.Sgt. Tom Rudzinski with Manheim Township Police says he's not sure he'd classify it as a rash of burglaries, but there have been enough to take notice. Especially one that happened in the 1700 block of Billview Drive Saturday. Two people were seen coming out of a home carrying a TV. When they were spotted, they took off in a tan Chevy Malibu. It happened at 6:30 in the morning.
"That is an unusual time for a burglary," says Rudzinski. "On top of that, the people were home at the time which is even more distressing."
Some of the other places hit include the Lancaster Church of the Brethren, homes on Dylan Lane, North President Avenue, and Cottage Avenue in Lancaster Township.
In some cases there has been forced entry.
