An Elizabethtown woman is dead after an early morning crash Sunday in West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County.
Police say they received a call for two accidents with injuries and involving fire on Route 441 around 6 am Sunday morning.
Emily Molhollen, 18, of Elizabethtown, was driving north on 441 when she lost control of her Hyundai just south of Old Chickies Hill Rd and began to spin, crossing over lanes.
A Chevy Trailblazer, driven by Kerry Harnish, 27, of Marietta, was travelling southbound on Route 441 and was unable to avoid Molhollen's car and hit it on the passenger side. Both cars then spun and the Molhollen was thrown from her car. She landed on the road and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Trailblazer caught fire but Harnish was able to escape and was taken to Lancaster General hospital with minor injuries.
