EAST BERLIN -
State Police in Gettysburg are investigating an armed robbery that left an Adams County Man's dog dead.
Police say that 30 year-old Jesse B. Cabassa of East Berlin, was walking in the area of Abbottstown Street early on Friday morning with his dog, when a man approached him and demanded that he hand over his wallet.
At that point the suspect shot Cabassa's dog and took off. Police say the dog died at the scene.
State Police are asking that anyone who has information about this robbery, contact them at 717-334-8111.
