Dog Shot And Killed In Robbery Attempt

State Police in Gettysburg are investigating an armed robbery that left an Adams County Man's dog dead.

Police say that 30 year-old Jesse B. Cabassa of East Berlin, was walking in the area of Abbottstown Street early on Friday morning with his dog, when a man approached him and demanded that he hand over his wallet.


At that point the suspect shot Cabassa's dog and took off. Police say the dog died at the scene.
