Nobody showed up to the meeting to voice concern or ask questions about Penn Harris Gaming's plans to build a casino at the Holiday Inn on Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township.

Township commissioners recently met with members of the investment group to see what their plans entail for the township and county.

The $75 million project would add 300 new jobs and a new 30,000 square foot building for slot machines and table games. The county and township would each get an estimated $1.6 million in tax revenue and a traffic study would be completed on Carlisle Pike.

Penn Harris Gaming plans on holding a meeting to get public input in the near future.
