HARRISBURG—
Police say a car accident in Harrisburg Saturday evening was the result of a man trying to steal a chain from around the driver's neck. Police were called to the Olympic Bar around 6pm for a reported accident. When they got there, a man told them that he wrecked because another man was trying to steal the chain the victim was wearing around his neck.The victim says Makorias Mitchell, 35,of the 600 blk Seneca Street, Harrisburg, followed him out of the Olympic Bar and jumped into the car the victim was driving and caused the victim to wreck into two other vehicles.
Witnesses were able to identify the accused and he was apprehended at 13th and Kittatinny Sts. He is currently in Dauphin County Prisonon $100,000 bail.
