FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP. ADAMS COUNTY -
The 45th annual Apple Harvest Festival wrapped up in Arendtsville today. Apples in every form from apple pie, apple sausage, apple butter and more, all filled the South Mountain Fairgrounds. The festival is held yearly the first two weekends of October for apple-lovers around the area. However, this year attendance was down almost 20,000 people from last year. Proceeds from the apple-loving festival all go to the Oakside Community Park and the Upper Adams Jaycees.
