YORK -
York City Detectives have arrested a 15-year old for the shooting death of James Wallmuth III, a law student gunned down in York's Foundry Park. The suspect has been charged with Criminal Homicide, Robbery, and Possession of a Firearm by a Minor.
Normally, we don't identify minors charged with a crime, however York Police have identified the suspect as Jordan Wallick. The charges he is facing will more then likely go through the adult criminal process. York Police believe Wallick was the shooter, but they expect more arrests could be forthcoming.

Two shootings, in two nights, have York Police busy searching for suspects. The latest gunfire erupting early this morning at the corner of Boundary and Cleveland Avenues. There, a man was shot three times. This comes just one day after another act of gun violence claimed the life of a man less then a mile away.
Police were combing Boundary and Cleveland Avenues around 2 a.m. looking for evidence. They got the call for gun fire after the Shot Spotter system indicated gun shots were fired in the area. By the time officers arrived, the victim was gone. They did find three 9 millimeter shell casings. That victim turned up at York Hospital conscious but suffering from three gunshot wounds to different parts of the body. At last check, the adult male was in surgery. Neighbors saying this time of year, the violence seems to escalate.
"It's hot. The economy, there's no jobs. These kids need something to do, places for them to go, something for them to do, really get them off of the streets," said neighbor Daniel Glover.
This shooting comes just over 24 hours after a law student was killed during what appears to be a botched robbery. James Wallmuth, III, 28, was a University of Pittsburgh law student, who at one point worked for the York County District Attorney's Office.
He was sitting on a bench in Foundry Park talking on his cell phone when he was shot in the back. He was taken to York Hospital where he died during surgery.
In both of these cases, police are still looking for suspects.
However, York Police have scheduled a news conference for later this morning to update the Wallmuth case. They are expected to announce that some advancements have been made in the search for his killer.
