Police Investigate Botched Robbery Attempt in Harrisburg; Victim Shot

Police in Harrisburg search for the suspects wanted in a robbery turned sour. It happened just before 11 p.m. Wednesday at a home along the 2100 block of Penn Street.

The victim says he was at home when two men attempted to rob him. The suspects hit the victim in the head with a gun, shot him in the leg, and ran away when the victim would not give them any money, police say.


The victim went to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not named any suspects.
