LANCASTER COUNTY - Manheim Township Police stop a driver for a traffic violation and discover he is wanted on several outstanding summary traffic warrants.

Police pulled over 23-year-old Wilson Osorio Jr., of the 200 block of East New Street in Lancaster, around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Lancaster Bureau of Police had been looking for Osorio for several weeks and had given out information on the outstanding warrants to police in Lancaster County.

Detectives charged Osorio with robbery and criminal conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with an August 2009 robbery after the traffic stop.

The heist happened around 9:40 a.m. August 6 at the Northwest Savings Bank along the 900 block of Columbia Avenue in Lancaster City. Two suspects fled on foot from the bank with an unknown amount of cash. The bandits showed no weapons, and no one was hurt.

Osorio remains in Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail,
