Dauphin County Man Charged in Connection with Armed Road Rage
SWATARA TOWNSHIP, DAUPHIN COUNTY - Swatara Township Police arrest a man after he allegedly pulls out a black pistol during a heated road rage incident.

John Danner, 36, of Paxton Street in Hummelstown, faces two counts each of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person in connection with the Wednesday confrontation.

Police say Danner drove recklessly, flashed his lights, and cut off the victim's car. The victims reported Danner then pulled up alongside their vehicle around 5:45 p.m., along State Route 322, and flashed a gun at them.

Police caught up with Danner along Interstate 83 northbound and found a loaded semi-automatic handgun on his body, in addition to two shotguns and ammunition from the rear passenger area of his car.

No one got hurt.
