LATIMORE TOWNSHIP, ADAMS COUNTY -
Police investigate an accident that leaves a pedestrian dead. It happened around 3 a.m. at State Route 15 and Bonner Hill Road in Latimore Township.
42-year-old Charles Thornton Jr., of the 100 block of South Second Street in Steelton, drove north on State Route 15 when an unidentified Hispanic male in his early to mid 20s crossed both lanes of traffic. Thornton struck the man, who died at the scene.
Thornton escaped with no injuries.
