A truck driven by Joe Craig, of Baltimore, was parked along the shoulder of the road. Craig had stopped to look at a map when another truck lost control, clipped the front of his truck, and tumbled down a 30-foot embankment. The truck took off about 200 feet of guard rail before rolling down the hill.

Craig helped the driver to safety before emergency crews arrived.

"I saw debris flying and stuff. It was very scary. I thought the guy was dead. I said, someone just died right in front of my eyes.," Craig says.

Neither of the drivers were seriously hurt. The driver who lost control went to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Crews will replace and fix the guard rail that was destroyed during the crash and then load paper from the rolled-over truck before turning it over and towing it away.

The right lane of Interstate 78 eastbound remains shut down. It is not expected to reopen until the afternoon.
