H1N1 Vaccine Clinics Scheduled For Toddlers and Preschoolers
The York-Adams Metropolitan Response System announced Tuesday it has scheduled H1N1 vaccination clinics for children ages 6 months to 5 years old residing in York and Adams Counties. A limited supply of both forms of the H1N1 vaccine (nasal spray and injectible) will be available.

Both clinics will be held from 9am to 6pm Tuesday, November 24 at two locations:
  1. Adams County Emergency Services Training Facility: 230 Greenamyer Lane, Gettysburg
  2. Memorial Hall: York Expo Center
Children must be registered by the parent/legal guardian who will be accompanying them to the vaccination site. A photo ID of the accompanying parent/legal guardian must be shown. Registrations will be taken on a first-come first served basis, and can be scheduled by calling 1-877-226-9890 or 717-812-4435 during hours. Those hours are:
  1. November 18: 8am - 8pm
  2. November 19: 8am - 6pm
  3. November 20: 8am - 6pm
These clinics are only available to toddlers and preschool-age children. Caregivers of infants less than six months old and adults, ages 18-64 with chronic medical conditions will have an opportunity to be vaccinated at future community-based clinics. Students, K-12, attending schools in York and Adams Counties will have the opportunity to be vaccinated through YAMMRS' school-based vaccination plan when additional vaccine is received.
