WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY - A 19-year-old Windsor man is killed after an head-on accident with a parked vehicle in Red Lion. The victim was driving south on Main Street around 4:15 a.m. when it appears he lost control of his Saturn, crashing into a parked tractor trailer, and causing the front of the his car to go under the truck, police say.

The truck driver was inside a Rutter's close to the scene at the time of the accident and was not hurt.

Those at the scene describe the accident as horrific.

"There is no way to describe a fatality accident. All fatality accidents are essentially no good. Any accident scene is no good," Red Lion Deputy Fire Chief Joseph Yahnke says.

The coroner pronounced the victim dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt. The victim's name will not be released until his family is notified.

South Main Street remains shut down between the intersections of Winterstown Road and West Walnut Street and is expected to reopen around 7:30 a.m.
