UNION TOWNSHIP, ADAMS COUNTY -
Police in Adams County arrest a driver for allegedly crashing into a motorcyclist while drunk. It happened around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday along the 600 block of Littlestown Road in Union Township.
28-year-old Jason Fuhrman, of Abbottstown, faces charges of DUI and aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI in connection to the crash.
Police say Fuhrman drove north on Littlestown Road and crashed into the rear passenger side of the motorcycle bring driven southbound by 36-year-old Scott Kemper, of Littlestown.
The impact threw Kemper from his bike.
Kemper was flown to York Hospital with major injuries. Hospital staff say Kemper remains in the emergency room with numerous injuries, as of 7:30 a.m.
Pennsylvania State Police in Gettysburg continue investigating the accident.
