HALIFAX, DAUPHIN COUNTY -
A 38-year-old Halifax man faces numerous charges after police say he started having sex with a girl when she was 11.
Brian Deiter, of the first block of West Cross Road, sexually assaulted the girl from 2005 to 2009, police say.
He is charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual Intercourse with a child, statutory sexual assault, aggravated Indecent assault, indecent assault, endangering welfare of children, indecent exposure, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor.
Deiter remains in Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.
The investigation is ongoing.
