CARLISLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY -
Police in Carlisle search for the two suspects wanted in connection with trying to lure a boy into a vehicle.
It happened around 7 p.m. October 31 when a 10-year-old boy walked along the 100 block of South Hanover Street. Police say a white male walked up to the child from between two buildings and asked him, "Why don't you walk across the street and get in a car?" This suspect is described as 5'10," 200-220 pounds, in his 50s, with a bald head and a goatee or beard, and last seen wearing a red t-shirt and jeans.
The boy then saw a Hispanic male in the driver's seat of a black newer-model small truck with tinted windows. The child reports that suspect said, "Get in the car."
The boy fled on foot to his home, and the suspects did not chase him.
