HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN COUNTY -
The Pennsylvania Department of Health has scheduled 3 additional H1Ni vaccination clinics for Tuesday and Wednesday.
One of those free clinics will be in Lancaster County at the State Health Center at 1661 Old Philadelphia Pike. The HiN1 vaccine will only be given to a target group of individuals between the ages of six months and 24 years old.
That group includes household contacts and caregivers for children younger than six months, pregnant women, healthcare providers and emergency medical services personnel and those under 65 years of age with underlying health problems, including asthma, diabetes, suppressed immune systems, heart disease, kidney disease and neurocognitive and neuromuscular disorders.
You must scheduled an appointment by calling 1-877-724--3258 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The clinic times are Tuesday, 9 am to noon and 1 pm until 4 pm. Wednesday the times are 9 am to noon and 1 pm until 3 pm.
