HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN COUNTY -
Harrisburg Police filed charges late Tuesday against 61 year old Jeffrey Oliver Sees of Marysville, Perry County. They say Sees attempted to lure a 10 year old boy into his car in an area near Green and Seneca streets at 4 o'clock on Monday afternoon.
Police responded to a report that an older man had approached a 10 year old and gave him money several times for making basketball shots. The suspect alledgedly attempted to take the boy around the corner. The victim refused and an adult witness then walked the victim home.
Acting on a vehicle model and license plate number obtained from witnesses, police stopped Sees car in the same area of the incident on Tuesday.
Sees faces charges of child luring and stalking. Harrisburg Mayor Stephen Reed praised members of the community that helped police locate the indivdual.
