Fire Rescue Crews Search the Susquehanna River (March 28, 2010)

Update: The search is over for a missing Manheim Township, Lancaster County woman. The Lancaster County Coroner says a body recovered from the Susquehanna river Wednesday afternoon has been positively identified as 43-year old Tracy A. Kiebach. The Coroner says Kiebach died as the result of freshwater drowning, Her death has been ruled a suicide. Kiebach's body was discovered by workers at Safe Harbor dam in Manor Township.

The Search: Crews wrapped up operations on the Susquehanna River around 4 p.m. Sunday, with no new clues. They were searching once again for Tracy Kiebach of Manheim Township, missing since early March.

About a 1/2 dozen boats and many rescue crews went into the River near South Front Street and Mill Street in Columbia Borough. They chose that area because Kiebach's car was found on the bridge near that location.

43-year old Kiebach was reported missing by a family member shortly before 11:30 on Wednesday, March 10.

Less than a hour later, the county 911 dispatch center was alerted to a car stopped on the Route 30 bridge between Columbia and Wrightsville. The car reportedly belonged to Kiebach. Emergency crews searched the river for hours that night, but with no results.
