BETHEL TOWNSHIP, LEBANON COUNTY -
A wielding bandit held lup the Redner's Quick Shop Convenice Store early Tuesday morning. Police say the suspect entered the store, located the 2900 block of Route 22 in Bethel Township, Lebanon County, just before 3:30 am and attempted to buy a pack of cigarettes.
After using a gift card and another debit card which were both declined, the suspect left the store. A short time he returned holding a knife and demanding cigarettes. The suspect then ran out of the store when the clerk refused his demands.
State Police say the suspect is a white male in his mid twenties. He wore a Duke hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a white baseball cap. Anyone with any information on the case is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police at (717) 865-2194.
